Order Processing: We are a small family owned business, so please bare with us as we work hard to process orders. Once an order is placed, please allow 5 or more business days for us to process and prepare for shipment. Large volumes of dog treats or large product orders may take longer to process. Orders will not be processed on weekends and holidays. This means your order may take a week or more to arrive to you; however, we will do everything we can to ship your package sooner than that if possible.

Drop-shipped Products
Drop-shipped items (Third-party fulfilment) order processing: Chief Treats does work with brands that provide third-party order fulfilment. If a product you have ordered is not currently in stock at our main location, we may attempt to have your item drop-shipped to you or issue a refund. Some items available in our store are ONLY fulfilled by a third-party. This information is indicated on each specific product page. Additional processing and fulfilment time (anywhere from 3 to 7 additional days) may apply when items are fulfilled by a third party. Items fulfilled by a third-party may ship separately depending on the contents of your order. Additional shipping fees may apply.
Shipping of drop-shipped products: These products are shipping from outside of our local area and therefore may experience delays due to many different circumstances out of our control.

Shipping, Local Delivery, Shipping of Heavy/Bulk items
Shipping and local delivery: We offer a few different shipping methods via USPS. Please be aware that we cannot control delays due to the USPS service, weather, disasters, etc. Shipping rates are automatically calculated based on current carrier rates and your order's total weight. Free shipping applies to most orders that total over $75.00 USD before taxes.
Local delivery is an option for any customers living within the 44035 area code for a NO fee on orders of $10 or more and ONLY for select products. Please be sure to select this option and provide relevant information at checkout if you reside within this area. This option will not be available to you if the product you're ordering is not available as a local delivery item.
Shipping of "heavy" items and additional charges: Bulk items and liquids are considered "heavy" and therefore are subject to separate shipping charges. When these items are purchased in multiples they take up a large amount of space in our shipping boxes and can add considerable weight to the package; therefore, we must charge an additional fee when ordering multiples, even if your package would otherwise qualify for "free" shipping by reaching the order price threshold. These items are marked on their individual product pages.
Fee schedule for "heavy" items:
Orders from 4 pounds to 20 pounds will be charged an additional $8.00 USD. to ship.
Orders from 20 pounds to 65 pounds will be charged an additional $20.00 USD. to ship.
”Free” shipping over $75: orders that qualify for free shipping service will be shipped using USPS ground. Packages shipped with this service may take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days to deliver after the initial order processing times. Some items do not qualify for free shipping including bulk or “heavy” items. Chief Treats LLC will do everything possible to have your order shipped as soon as possible.

Refunds for delays in shipping will not be granted once the product has left our hands.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.
